I hadn’t exercised in a long time so when a friend of mine told me to come along to Hale Health with him a couple of months back to check it out, I thought “why not?”. Best move I’ve made in a long time. I was immediately hooked with the circuit class so much so that I haven’t missed one since. I also get in a box fit class there once a week on top of the circuit classes. Result = 9kg weight loss in 11 weeks. The workouts are extremely challenging but varied and rewarding. Aaron is an excellent trainer who is highly knowledgeable, genuine, supportive and motivating for those who attend his classes. It’s a great, ego-free environment with friendly (and some hilarious) people who are all in pursuit of better health. I can’t recommend this place enough. Please come and try Hale Health, it’ll transform your life.

Here is a little about him...

I'm currently in my third and final year of my degree, a Bachelor of Health, Sport, and Human Performance at the University of Waikato.

My Majors are in Human Performance Science, and Cellular and Molecular Biology, and I have a particular passion for Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Physiology, and Biomechanics.

I've always kept myself busy with a range of sports and activities, and right now am enjoying mixed martial arts, sprinting, and weightlifting amongst other things. I also like to go on walks or hikes with my friends and family.

In the future I would love to work full time with high performance sports teams and athletes, and have already had the opportunity to work with the likes of the WBOP Magic, Canoe slalom NZ, and NZ Paralympic cycling team.

My goal is to bring a holistic and evidence based approach to health and fitness, and helping people to reach the peak of their personal fitness and well being.

Hey Whanau!

You may have already seen her around the gym, but we want to give a warm welcome to Rachana!!

She has come on board as our Sales Consultant 😀

Here is a a little about her...raised in Hamilton, I wasn't too much of a sporty kid however from my teen years I started loving the gym and it became my escape, my time to do what I wanted without any judgement.

I became more interested in lifting weights, nutrition, doing yoga and going for those beautiful hikes around the Waikato, this is how my passion grew into my lifestyle.

I've been studying a Bachelor of sport and exercise science at Wintec and have learnt so much over the 3 years.

Health is a journey and there's no short fix to it, you really have to challenge yourself to get the results you want and be in it for the long run. I believe the only thing you can control is yourself, therefore the best way to live is to look after your body and mind.

I'm excited to be part of the Hale health team, I can't wait to share my knowledge to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
